Move action

Technical node name: MoveDef

A move action is used to move an Exchange item from one Exchange folder to another. For example, it can be used to move messages from the Inbox folder to the Deleted Items folder after they have been stored in ELO. This action requires a Commit action to take effect.

Please note: A move action automatically reloads the affected Exchange item when it takes effect. If you have made any previous changes to the item previous to this in the tree, you must insert a commit action before the move action or the changes will be lost.

Move to: Select the path to which messages will be moved. Enter a backslash \ followed by an Exchange path. You can use the entries under Well-known folders to help you construct the path.

Well-known folders: The ELOxc Console helps you to construct a folder path by supporting "well known folder" variables. Double-click an entry in this list to add it to the Move to field.

Requirements

The Move action requires a valid Exchange path in the Move to field.
