ELOxcTools.exe
ELOxcTools.exe is a utility program designed to help design actions in ELOxc EWS action trees. This includes text patterns (Regex), mapping properties in ELOxc to Microsoft Exchange (Fieldnames), and basic settings for the service and instances.
Service tab
You can use the Service tab to review your basic ELOxc settings.
ELOxcSrv Path: The path to the ELOxc executable.
Web Service Port: The port on which the ELOxc service can be reached. Any unused port may be used.
Log Directory: Select a directory where the ELOxc service stores its log files.
Please note: Make sure that you select a directory that is only intended for log files. The directory is cleared after a specific number of days (Log Age).
Log Detail: Select a number between 0 and 20 to define the logging level. This defines how much information is written to the ELOxc log files. 20 represents the highest level of detail in the logs.
Log Age {days]: The number of days that ELOxc service logs will be kept before they are deleted. The default value is 7 days.
Regex tab
The Regex tab helps create regular expressions to, for example, filter e-mail messages for specific contents. Click the Examples drop-down menu to see examples of commonly used regular expressions that you can reuse in your projects. The Useful Links tab contains links to further information on regular expressions.
Fields tab
On the Fields tab, you can search for ELO and Exchange properties for use in your action trees. Enter a term to any of the input fields and click Search to perform a search. Click the field name to view its details.
Several properties available for use by ELOxc EWS are not described in the Microsoft documentation. To see the possibilities available in these custom ELO properties, search for "ELO" on the Fields tab.
Properties, ELO customCron Expressions tab
The Cron Expressions tab existed in previous versions of ELOxc EWS. Please refer to earlier versions of this documentation if you are using a version of ELOxc EWS that requires cron expressions.
