Add account

To access your company repository, you must connect ELO for Mobile Devices to your ELO repository. Create an account to do so.

1. Tap the menu button to open the tile navigation.

The tile navigation appears.

2. In the tile navigation, tap the Context menu button.

The tile navigation context menu opens.

3. In the tile navigation context menu, tap the Configuration button.

The Configuration dialog box appears.

4. Tap the ADD ACCOUNT button to create a new account.

The Add account dialog box appears.

5. Enter a name to the Repository profile name field. You can choose any name you like.

6. Enter the ELO Web Client URL for the repository you want to connect to to the Web Client URL field. You must use the following pattern:

http://<server name>:<port name>/web-<repository name>

7. Enter your ELO user name to the Username field.

The SAVE button is now active.

8. Enter your password to the Password field.

9. Tap the SAVE button.

ELO for Mobile Devices establishes a connection to the specified server. Once this process is complete, the account is set up and you have access to the connected ELO repository.

Please note: An account is only connected to one repository at a time. In order to access different repositories, you have to create multiple accounts.

Alternative: You can also create an account with an .eloprofile file. This file contains the account data in JSON format:

Send the .eloprofile file to your mobile device, for example as an e-mail attachment. Select the ELO for Mobile Devices app to open the profile file. The ELO for Mobile Devices app opens the Add account dialog box. The fields are automatically filled in with the data from the .eloprofile file. Tap SAVE to add the account.

Set account to active

To use an account, you have to activate it first.

1. Tap the menu button to open the tile navigation.

The tile navigation appears.

2. In the tile navigation, tap the Context menu button.

The tile navigation context menu opens.

3. In the tile navigation context menu, tap the Configuration button.

The Configuration dialog box appears.

4. Tap the Context menu button for the account you would like to activate.

The selected account is highlighted in blue. The functions available for the selected account are shown in the action bar at the top right edge of the screen.

5. On the action bar, tap the SET ACCOUNT TO ACTIVE button.

The context menu closes. The selected account is assigned the icon for the active account (person in orange). The account is now active.
