Margin notes are annotations for a document or a folder and are displayed on the split bar. The margin notes can be taken into account when searching for documents.

Warning: Once you have created a margin note, it cannot be removed or edited.

Enter the desired text to the text field.

Permissions: A permanent margin note can be seen by all users.

OK: Click OK to close the dialog box.

Cancel: Click Cancel to cancel the creation of a margin note or to undo the changes to a margin note.
