Repository management

Passwords: To see whether passwords have been saved for your repositories, click Passwords in the Repository management dialog box.

You can remove stored logon data here.

Add: Click this button to add a new repository.

You will be requested to enter a server that contains an ELO repository. This also includes the option of entering new servers; you have to know the name and HTTP address of these servers.

The Add new repository dialog box appears.

Repository name (profile): Enter the repository name to this input field.

URL: Enter the repository URL here. The text in parentheses is an example of the syntax that should be used for new servers: http://<host name>:<port number>/ix-<repository name>/ix.

If an operational Indexserver is found with the correct name and URL, the OK button is active. Clicking this button makes the dialog box disappear. The new server is displayed in the Repository management dialog box.

Existing repositories: Shows all successfully recognized servers or repositories for the client. If the new server was successfully recognized, click this button to permanently enter the server into the Existing repositories field.

Edit: Once a server is selected, you can edit the connection data again using this button.

Delete: You may also remove the server again. Do this by selecting an already registered server and then clicking the Delete button.
