Add attachment
Available in: Ribbon > Document
This function opens a dialog box with which you can add an attachment to a document.
Attachment, addFunction, add attachmentSelect a file from the file system in the Add attachment dialog box. This file is added to the document as an attachment. You have the following options for selecting the file:
Drag and drop: Drag the file to the Drop file here area.
Selection dialog box: Click the folder icon and choose a file.
If the document has an attachment, the paperclip icon appears on the split bar.
Click the paperclip icon on the split bar to start the process of opening the current attachment.
Use the Open attachment function to open the current attachment.
Information: A confirmation dialog box from Microsoft Windows may appear. Decide whether you want to save the attachment or open it.
