Product topology
The following graphical display of the ELOxc product architecture illustrates how the components communicate with each other:
TopologyProduct architectureThe ELOxc.xml file contains a minimum configuration for accessing an ELOix. This enables ELOxc to read the complete instance configuration, which is located in the repository under //Administration//ELOxc Base//SERVICE. This configuration controls the flow of data between Microsoft Exchange and the ELO repository.
The illustrated function calls take place via different interfaces in ELOxc: interpretation of command prompt calls, connection to the service control manager and deployment of a REST API in an http-SelfHost. The ELOxc Console also uses the REST API to communicate with ELOxc. In contrast to this, ELOxc Tools uses ELOxc functions at assembly level.
