To install ELOxc for the first time, you need to extract the ZIP package to a separate directory, which is then used as the product directory. At this point, the service registration does not exist and there are no instance configurations. To register ELOxc as a service in the system, you need to run ELOxc Tools and click the "Register" button in the "Service" menu item. This automatically registers the program ELOxc.exe in the same directory as a service in the system.

The interface of ELOxc Tools looks like this before the initial registration:

You need to enter a Web Service Port and a Log Directory for the ELOxc service during registration. To complete the registration, click Save.

Following initial registration, the path to ELOxc.exe is shown in the Registered Path field and the Start and Unregister buttons are enabled.
