Setting markers (TagDef)

You set element markers with the Tag action.

Tag actionAction, set markersTagDef

You set element markers with the Tag action. This action allows you to create a new element field containing the configured text or overwrite an existing field of the same name with this value. As an alternative to a text constant, you can also copy the value from another field into this field. You can also use this action to set an Outlook category or to remove markers that have already been set.

Click the Advanced button in the Options area to open the advanced configuration settings.

Value: Define a value for a new element field.

Name: Enter the field name for the marker here. If the element already contains a field with that name, the value in that field will be overwritten.

Category: Define the name of the Outlook category.

Type: If you select the default value "string" from the drop-down menu, the value of the XML element is applied as the field content. If you select "fieldname", a copy of the field value is created.

Delete: If you check the box, the configured field is deleted. This also applies to the configuration of a category.
