Installation and getting started
Requirements
The following requirements apply for the installation and use of ELO for Mobile Devices:
- Android 4.1 or higher installed on the mobile device
- ELO Web Client 12.00.000 or higher installed on the ELO server and configured for use on the Internet. For more information, refer to the ELO Web Client Internet Access developer documentation.
- Active Internet connection for unlimited functionality
Please note: HTTPS is essential for secure communication because sensitive data is sent over the network. Without SSL/TLS encryption, third parties could intercept this data.
Install app
You will find the ELO for Mobile Devices app in the Google Play Store.
Installation1. Tap Install to begin installation.
The app is installed on your device automatically.

2. To start ELO for Mobile Devices, tap the app icon on your device's start screen.

Create account
When starting the app the first time, you will be asked whether you want to create a demo account or log on with an existing account.
Demo account, createYou can use the demo account to familiarize yourself with the app. The demo account has restricted functions without write rights. To create a demo account at a later point in time, tap the CREATE DEMO ACCOUNT button in the action bar of the Configuration dialog box.
To access your company repository, you need to set up your ELO user account in ELO for Mobile Devices. Tap Log on with existing account. You can find more information in the section Add account.
Language
ELO for Mobile Devices automatically uses your device's language settings. If ELO for Mobile Devices does not support your language, it uses English as the default.
