Tile navigation

The tile navigation is the ELO Desktop Client start screen. All work areas and search favorites are available as tiles here. You can add other tiles via the ELO App Manager (part of ELO Forms Services).

Right-clicking a tile opens a context menu. Click Shrink tile to cut the size of the tile in half or Hide to hide the tile. Hidden tiles are moved to the Hidden tiles group. To restore the tile, drag it to the target location in the tile navigation. Clicking Settings opens the tile settings. You can set the color and size of the tile and choose an icon.

Search tiles: Enter your search to the search field. While entering a search term, the results are narrowed down to the appropriate tiles thanks to the search-as-you-type function. The matches are highlighted in the tiles.

Repository: This group contains the Repository and My ELO tiles. An exclamation mark on the My ELO tile indicates that you have news waiting for you.

Search: This group contains the Search tile. If you have created any search favorites, they are also shown in this area.

Other: This group contains the Desktop and In use tiles. The number of documents in use is shown at the top right of the In use tile.

Hidden tiles: This group contains the hidden tiles.

Information: The arrow following the group title expands and collapses the group.

Work area toolbar: The toolbar provides access to the Repository, Search, My ELO, Desktop, and In use work areas.
