Microsoft Outlook is one of the most popular e-mail clients in the world. The new ELO Client for Microsoft Outlook connects Outlook's e-mail functions with the paperless office of ELO. This means that you can use the ELO Client for Microsoft Outlook from within Outlook to file, organize, and edit e-mails and attachments in ELO. Conversely, you can also use the Microsoft Outlook functions from within ELO.

Working with the two programs is both intuitive and simple: All you have to do is drag e-mail messages to ELO, and you can also drag files to attach them to e-mails. In a single window, you can create and open folders in ELO, edit files, view version histories, and much more.

This manual only deals with functions relevant to the ELO Client for Microsoft Outlook in conjunction with the ELO repository. If you have questions regarding the ELO configuration or the required server architecture, we recommend consulting the respective manuals. The same applies for Microsoft Outlook. This manual does not cover its functions and configuration.
