Start the ELO Java Client
Logon
1. Double-click the ELO Java Client icon on the desktop.
Alternatively: Run the EloClient.exe file in the program directory of the client.
The logon dialog box appears.
2. Enter your ELO user name and password.
Please note: Your ELO user password may differ from your Microsoft Windows password. You can obtain your ELO user ID from your administrator.
Optional: Select repository and language
To select a specific repository or to change the language of the ELO Java Client, check the Show logon options box.
Log on, select repositorySelect repository, during logonLanguage, selectDisplay languageYou can select the repository and the language from the drop-down menus.
Information: The repositories that you can select are defined by your administrator.
3. Click LOG ON.
The ELO Java Client opens.
Error message
If the ELO Java Client does not start, an error message will appear.
Error, logonInternal errors are displayed in yellow. In this case, you either entered the wrong password or the account has been locked. Enter your logon information again. If the account is locked, contact your administrator.
External errors are displayed in red. In this case, there is an issue with the server connection. Contact your administrator.
