Filter with user selection

Available in: Ribbon > Search > Filters

Using the Filed by and Editor filters, you can filter your search based on a user. Both filters apply the same principle.

Enter the name of the desired user to the input field.

Suggestions will appear as you type.

Confirm your input with the ENTER key.

Alternatively: Click one of the suggestions from the list.

Combine filters

You can use a combination of filters:

  • Multiple filters: By combining different filters, you can narrow down the search results based on multiple criteria. This allows you to create precise search requests.
  • Multiple filters of one type: Use multiple filters of the same type to set more advanced filters. For example, multiple Entry type filters allow you to perform a search filtered by multiple entry types.

Negate filters

You can set filters to exclude specific values.

1. Select a filter value.

2. Right-clicking the filter opens its context menu.

3. Check the does not contain box.

The filter is now in does not contain mode.

Remove filters

To remove the filter, click the X icon next to the selected filter value.
