My ELO
The My ELO work area is on the start page of the Outlook client.
My ELOWork area, My ELOInformation: Most functions in the My ELO work area relate to the feed function. You can find additional information about this function in the Feed section.
Feed posts from different entries are displayed in the News tab. This applies to feeds such as those that a user has subscribed to or in which they are mentioned by another user. Escalated or recently started workflows that are relevant for the user are also shown in this work area.
Information: If no posts appear in the My ELO work area, check your filter settings. There may be no posts for the selected period (under New since).
If you are using a different work area, press CTRL+Windows to switch straight to My ELO.
Search feed: Click the Search feed button to open a search window. Clicking Search starts a search. When the searched term is found, the feed is reduced to the corresponding posts. The matches are highlighted. Click Reset search to exit the results list and return to the full feed.
My profile: Clicking My profile opens your user profile. The enlarged profile picture and available data are shown. You can change your profile by clicking Edit data.
Feed: The Feed contains current posts, polls, and comments.
7 Settings: Click this button to configure the following settings: My ELO settings, My subscribed hashtags, and My polls.
Filter: You can filter posts in the ELO feed in the Filter area.
Current hashtags: Trending hashtags are grouped in the hashtag cloud. Clicking a hashtag opens the overview for the selected hashtag, where all posts marked with the hashtag are shown.
My recently started workflows: In this area, you can see all workflows you are involved in. If any workflows you are involved in have been escalated, the number of workflows as well which workflows are concerned are indicated in red.

If the preview pane in My ELO is not large enough to show workflow information, the Show current hashtags, Show workflows, and Show filter options buttons will appear. The elements are briefly described in the following. Refer to the following sections of this chapter for more information.

Show workflows: Click Show workflows to display workflow information above the subscribed feed.

In the Escalated workflows area, you can see which workflows the respective user is involved in.

If the preview pane in My ELO is not large enough to show the filters, the Show filter options button will appear.

To hide the filters, click Hide filter options.
Filter categories
The following filter categories are available in My ELO:
New since: The New since filter option lets you filter the My ELO work area by time periods.

In the default settings, all filters are applied in is mode.
To negate the filter, click is and set it to is not.
Form: The Form filter option lets you filter the My ELO work area by the keywording forms used for entries.

Additional filters: The Additional filters option lets you filter the My ELO work area based on the settings that relate to the current user.

To apply a filter, click the corresponding filter in the list.

To reset all filters, click the Reset filters button (arrow icon).
Mark as important
The Mark as important button (flag icon) lets you pin a post to the My ELO area. The post remains visible in the My ELO area even if it is more than one month old. You can recognize posts that are marked as important by the red flag icon. Click the red flag icon to delete the marker.

Use the Subscribe to feed for the entry button (send icon) to subscribe to a feed for the entry in the My ELO work area. A check mark over the send icon indicates you have subscribed to the entry feed. Clicking the button unsubscribes from the feed.

You can hide a post in the My ELO work area by clicking the Remove from My ELO button.

After you have hidden a post, you can restore it by clicking the Undo button.
News in My ELO
The My ELO work area is marked in green once there are any changes to the News area. This can be a new comment on a feed you have subscribed to, for example, or a new workflow that has been assigned to you. The marker only appears if you are not currently working in the My ELO area. Pressing CTRL+Windows switches straight to the My ELO work area.
