You will be asked to add a version comment when you file a document to the ELO repository. A commented version control is particularly useful if documents are changed multiple times.

Version: Label your version with a version name or number.

Comment: You can use this space to enter a brief comment about the current document version. Comments can be searched by ELO, which later helps with finding documents and versions faster.

Non-deletable version: If selected, this version of the document cannot be deleted from the version history of the document.

Adjust document date: Normally, the document date entered in the keywording form is completely separate from the date of the respective document version. This option lets you change the date in the keywording to the current date.

Do not show dialog box again: If version control is of no importance for your repository, you can turn off this dialog box here. ELO will still create a version history in the background.
