ELOxc consists of various components and is delivered as a ZIP package without an installation program. The programs and files in the package are self-contained, which means that you do not have to install the required ASP.NET Core framework. In the on-premise desktop environment normally used for ELOxc, a Windows service is nevertheless registered during installation. The file ELOxc.dll is the actual program. To run this program in the desktop environment, you need the file ELOxc.exe, which is also included in the package.

The product also includes the configuration interface ELOxc Manager, which is automatically available at the configured HTTPS port and can be started from the browser.

Updates

If you carry out a manual update, you must close all ELOxc programs and replace the entire installation directory, with the exception of the configuration file ELOxc.xml, with the new package files.
