Technical node name: TagDef

A tag action is used to enter some piece of information to a specific tag for an affected Exchange item. A Tag node must always be followed by a Commit node in an action tree.

The advantage of tags (named properties) is that they can be used within selections. A selection occurs within every action tree, which allows distinguished tags to be used as selection criteria.

Information: It is possible to use a Tag action in an action tree and then search for that tag later in another action tree. See the Action tree section for information on this scenario.

Tag name: Enter the name of the field name that you want to change.

Delete: Select Delete if you want to delete the tag entered to Tag name.

Value: Enter the value you want to enter to the field name entered to Tag name.

Information: You can enter information to multiple tags or delete multiple tags by clicking Advanced.

Requirements

You must enter a named property (field name) to the Tag name field.
