Start workflow

You can start new workflows via ELO for Mobile Devices. Use workflow templates for this. These templates must already exist in the ELO repository being used.

Information: This function is only available in the Repository and Clipboard work areas.

1. Select the desired entry and open the context menu.

2. In the context menu, tap the Additional functions button.

The Additional functions drop-down menu opens.

3. Tap the Start workflow button in the drop-down menu.

The Start workflow dialog box appears. The Template field is enabled.

4. Tap the SELECT TEMPLATE button.

The Select template dialog box appears.

5. Tap the corresponding entry in the list to select a template.

The workflow name is entered to the Template and Workflow name fields.

Optional: Change the workflow name. Tap the Workflow name field and enter a new name.

6. Tap the OK button to start the workflow.

The Start workflow dialog box closes. The workflow starts.

The workflow is added to the Tasks work area.

Information: In the Configuration dialog box, you can change the sort order of the task list and determine whether group and substitution tasks as well as escalations are shown. For detailed information, refer to the Configuration chapter.

Task font color

Blue: New tasks appear in the task list in a blue font.

Black: After you have opened a new task, the task is marked as read. The task appears with a black font.

Red: A task that has passed its deadline is displayed in red.
