Create new employee
Objective
To create a personnel file for a new employee.

You have the right to create a new employee.
Step:
1. Click New employee on the Personnel tab.
The New personnel file dialog box opens.
Information: If multiple file types have been created, you first have to choose the file type you would like to use to create the personnel file. By selecting a file type, relevant information is automatically entered to the personnel file.
Mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk.
Fields with a pencil icon contain keyword lists. When you type a value to the respective field, matching list entries appear.
2. Fill out the fields accordingly.
If you do not enter a personnel number, one will be generated automatically.
Information: To give employees access to the functions in the Self-Service group on the Personnel tab, you have to fill out the ELO user name index field. This means the user already has to exist in ELO. An ELO user name cannot be entered to more than one personnel file.
3. Click OK.
Result
A new personnel file is created. The status of the personnel file is O - Onboarding.
