Create new organization

Objective

Organizations provide the foundation for creating organizational charts. An organization has to be created before departments, divisions, and teams can be created.

Requirements

You have the right to create a new organization. The organization cannot be created within an existing organization.

Step:

1. Click the folder in the repository where you want to place the organization.

2. Click the New organization button on the Personnel tab.

The New organization dialog box opens.

Mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk.

Fields with a pencil icon contain keyword lists. When you type a value to the respective field, matching list entries appear.

3. Fill out the fields as required.

4. Click OK.

Result

The new organization is created in the repository.
