Manage view filters

Use the Manage view filters dialog box to edit repository and tasks view filters. You see in the left column of the dialog box if and whether there are view filters. Edit the selected view filter in the right column of the dialog box.

Settings for

Select user: Select a user/option group via the Select user button to assign the user/option group certain settings in the configuration.

Transfer settings to other users (icon): Transfer the settings you made to one or multiple users or an option group.

Repository view filters

You can see the available repository view filters in the Repository view filters area. You can edit a repository view filter once you have selected it.

Name of the view filter

Name: Change the name of the repository view filter in the Name field.

Repository folder

Change the folder that is linked to the repository view filter in the Repository folder area. To change the folder, use the integrated tree view to navigate to the desired folder and confirm your selection with Apply or OK.

Tasks view filters

You can see the available task view filters in the Task view filters area. You can edit a task view filter once you have selected it.

Name of the tasks view filter

Name: Change the name of the task view filter in the Name field.

Criteria

Type: Use the Type drop-down menu to choose by which type of tasks filtering should take place. All tasks are displayed when no task type is selected.

Choose from the following options:

  • Reminders
  • Workflows
  • Monitoring
  • Forms

Priority: Use the Priority drop-down menu to specify the priority according to which the tasks are to be filtered. Only tasks with the selected priority are displayed. When no priority is selected, all tasks are displayed.

Choose from the following options:

  • A
  • B
  • C
  • Escalation

Name: Use the drop-down menu and the input field to define which criteria the name of the tasks have to meet so that the corresponding tasks can be displayed.

Use the drop-down menu to select which condition applies. Choose from the following conditions:

  • contains
  • begins with
  • ends with

In the input field, enter the character string that the selected condition should be applied to.

Node name: Use the drop-down menu and the input field to define which criteria the node name must fulfill so that the corresponding tasks can be displayed.

  • ends with

In the input field, enter the character string that the selected condition should be applied to.

Keywording form: Use the Keywording form drop-down menu to select a keywording form when you wish that only tasks with the corresponding keywording form will be displayed in the tasks view filter.

Show postponed workflows: When the option Show postponed workflows option is activated, postponed workflows will also be displayed within the new tasks view filter.

General buttons

New: Click New to open the Add new view filter dialog box. Select the type of view filter you want to create. The new view filter appears in the Manage view filters dialog box in the corresponding area. Modify the settings to the new view filter as required.

Delete: Use the Delete button to mark the selected view filter for deletion. To delete a view filter, click Apply or OK.

Use default: Click the Use default button to delete all separate view filters. View filters previously defined by an administrator remain unchanged.

Information: The changes automatically restart the ELO Java Client.

Apply: Click Apply to save the changes. The dialog box remains open.

OK: Click OK to apply your changes and to close the dialog box.

Cancel: Click Cancel to close the dialog box without saving the changes.
