Every ELO user has their own user profile. User data can be added to the user profiles.

There are two ways to change the user data of an ELO user:

• In the Administration folder
• By the user in the user profile

In the Administration folder

Here is the method using the Administration folder.

Information: You require the appropriate permissions for this method.

Filing location

The user data is saved in the keywording of the respective user folder. The path to the user folder is as follows:

Administration¶Users¶<folder with corresponding number range>¶<user name>

Step:

1. Open the user folder for the respective user (see above).

2. Open the keywording form for the user folder.

The ELO user folder keywording form opens automatically.

3. Enter the respective information to the index fields.

4. Click OK to close the keywording.

Result

The information you entered is shown in the user's profile.

About the user profile

A user profile is created for every user. This can be accessed via the feed or via the My ELO work area. You can change your own user data in the corresponding dialog box. In the following, the method via the feed is described.

Information: Administrators with Edit user data permission can change data for other users.

Requirements

• You must have created at least one feed post.

Step:

1. Select an entry in the repository which you created a feed post for.

Optional: If the feed is hidden, you can display it by clicking the Feed preview element in the viewer pane.

Information: The Feed preview element must have been selected in the preview profile.

2. Navigate to a feed post which you have created.

3. Click your user name.

Alternatively: Click your profile image.

The dialog box with your user profile appears.

4. Click Edit data.

The dialog box switches to edit mode.

5. Enter the data as required.

6. Scroll to the bottom of the dialog box.

7. Click Save.

Result

The information you entered is shown in the user's profile.
