Text and image view
ELO Web Client offers additional control elements in the viewer pane for displaying images (formats: JPG, TIFF, PNG, ...) and text files (formats: TXT, HTML, JS, ...) or the full text contents of documents.
Text view
The text view is used to display the full text information of documents which have been included in the full text database. In addition, you can specify that this view is used for documents with particular file extensions.
Text viewPlease note: Unexpected display errors may occur for binary files.
Click the Full text button. The text view appears.
The text view has a menu bar with the following functions:
Text view, functionsIncrease font size: Enlarges the font size of the displayed text.
Decrease font size: Reduces the font size of the displayed text.
Fixed font width: Switches the display to a non-proportional font so that all characters are displayed with the same spacing. This increases the readability, e.g. of code.
Word wrap: The rows will be wrapped automatically.
Highlight: To search for a term in the full text database, enter the term in the Highlight field and click Search. The hits will be marked.
Show previous hit: Jumps to the last highlighted entry in the text.
Show next hit: Jumps to the next highlighted entry in the text.
Hits: The number of hits is shown here.
Image view
The image view is used to preview image documents. You can also set this as the display mode for documents with specific file extensions.
Image viewAnnotations attached to a document will also be displayed in the image view, but cannot be edited.
The image view has a menu bar with the following functions:
Image view, functionsZoom out: Shrinks the displayed image.
Zoom in: Enlarges the displayed image.
Zoom to 100%: The image is displayed in the original size.
Fit image width to the frame: The image size will fit the width of the viewer pane.
Fit image size to the frame: The image is adjusted to the height of the viewer pane so that the entire page of the document is displayed.
Rotate all pages 90 degrees left: Rotates the preview 90 degrees left.
Rotate all pages 90 degrees right: Rotates the preview 90 degrees right.
Pages: Shows the current page number and the total page number.
Next page: The next page of a multi-page document will be displayed.
Previous page: The previous page of a multi-page document is displayed.
