Inherit permissions when moving entries

In the Inherit permissions when moving entries area, you can define what happens to permissions when moving an entry in the repository.

Confirm via a dialog box: When the Confirm via a dialog box check box is enabled, a dialog box appears when moving an entry. Use the dialog box to define what happens to permissions when moving entries.

Behavior for differing permissions when moving documents: When the Confirm via a dialog box option is disabled, the setting made under Behavior for differing permissions when moving documents applies. The following options are available in the drop-down menu:

• Keep previous permissions unchanged: The moved entries retain the existing permission settings.
• Replace with the permissions of the target folder: The moved entries inherit the permission settings of the target folder.

Notifications

The Notifications area contains an option for specifying whether you want messages to be displayed.

Display message if keywording does not contain a personal identifier: If this option is enabled, a notification dialog box is displayed if the keywording you entered does not contains any personal identifiers.
