In addition, the manual contains explanations of the functional principles of ELOxc and the system dependencies associated with this. It is therefore essential that you read this manual thoroughly as it is a basic requirement for participating in product training in the ELO Academy.

Difference to training materials

Product training focuses on common processing scenarios and applies sample configurations based on experience in practice. In this manual, we provide you with content and background information to help you develop a basic understanding of ELOxc. The aim is to prepare you for the product training.

Test environment

We recommend that you set up a test environment, which will make it easier for you to understand the contents of this manual. ELOxc is much easier to configure if you have learned how to set up a system environment.

Please note: For support matters, we always assume that you have access to a test environment. We can only provide proper technical support if it is possible to reproduce scenarios. In view of the complexity of ELOxc, it is advisable to verify configuration projects in a test environment before implementing them in a live system. In our experience, this achieves the best results.
