Available in: Workflow designer > Link group nodes

In this dialog box, you can link nodes that have the same group entered to the User field. If a user accepts a group task, the user will be assigned the additional tasks from the linked nodes.

Step by step

1. Select a group node in the workflow template.

2. Under Node settings, click Link group nodes.

The Link group nodes dialog box opens. The Links field contains the selected group node and group nodes that are already linked to it. Linked nodes are shown in black. Nodes you have just added are shown in blue and labeled with the text [adding].

3. In the workflow designer, click a node that is assigned to the same group. You can select multiple nodes by holding down the CTRL key. The Link group nodes dialog box remains open.

4. In the Link group nodes dialog box, click the arrow pointing right.

The node selected in the workflow designer is displayed in the Links field.

5. To link the nodes, click OK.

Additional options

Go to: The Go to button in the workflow designer takes you to the node that you selected in the Link group nodes dialog box.

Remove: Click the Remove button to delete the workflow selected in the Link group nodes dialog box from the Links field.

OK: Click OK to save the changes.

Cancel: Click Cancel to close the dialog box without saving the changes.
