ELOxc checklist
The previous section describes the basic requirements for installing ELOxc EWS. This section goes into more detail in case you run into problems installing and running ELOxc. Before contacting ELO support, please go through the following list and make sure that each item is taken care of on your system.
Domain
- A domain must be set up and working.
- A separate user must be set up on the domain. This user must be a normal user, not a journal user or similar.
- Check that the user has the required/recommended rights described in the previous section.
- The user must have access to the Active Domain (test this using, for example, using an AD browser).
- AutoDiscovery must be fully functional and correctly configured.
Exchange
- Microsoft Exchange must be version 2010 SP2 or later.
- The certificates on the Exchange Server must be valid.
Windows
- The computer running ELOxc must use a 64-bit version of Windows. Server 2008 or later is recommended.
- .NET Framework 4.5 Full Profile must be installed (64-bit).
ELO
- ELOxc Console must be installed on Tomcat 8. This is the case if it was installed automatically with the ELO 10 application server.
- ELO Indexserver must be the version specified in the ELOxc Version.txt or higher.
- Check Version.txt for additional miscellaneous requirements.
