Objective
To formally verify an invoice.

You have an invoice in your Tasks work area for formal verification.
Step:
1. Click the Tasks tile.
2. Click the workflow for the invoice.
3. Click Accept workflow.
The form is now in edit mode.
The form consists of the following tabs:
- Invoice data
- Tax law
- Item data
- Footer data
Some fields are completed automatically. The mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk.
Information: To read the documents automatically, you need a system for automatic invoice processing, such as ELO DocXtractor.
The index fields with a pencil icon contain keyword lists. When you type a value to the respective index field, matching list entries appear.
You are on the Invoice data tab.
4. Check the entries in the fields.
Optional: Fill out the other fields accordingly.
5. Click the Tax law tab.
The Tax law tab contains an evaluation of automatic checks based on tax law.
Optional: Check the box next to compliant.
6. Click the Item data tab.
The Item data tab contains a list of the items as well as information on the individual items.
7. Check the entries in the fields.
Optional (1): Fill out the other fields accordingly.
Optional (2): You can split or merge items. To split an item, enter the ratio in the corresponding field, e.g. 2:3. To connect items, check the corresponding check boxes. Click Connect.
8. Click the Footer data tab.
The Footer data tab contains a list and calculation of invoice amounts.
9. Check the entries in the fields.
Optional: Fill out the other fields accordingly.
10. Click Forward for approval.
Result
The invoice is forwarded for departmental approval. It appears in the Tasks work area of the respective employee.
An automatic feed post indicates changes to the form.
