Stubbing (StubbingDef)

The Stubbing action replaces the main content of an element.

In Exchange, this is the message body. This depends on whether you select "html" and "text" for the value "BodyType" in the stubbing template ("TemplateStubDef"). The template, which must be stored as a corresponding document in TEMPLATES, is stored in "Name" under its XML name.

Click the Advanced button in the Options area to open the advanced configuration settings.

Name: Enter a name for the Stubbing action.

Mode: Select "ecdlink" (ELO link) or "doclink" (Web Client document link) mode from the drop-down menu.

Template: Selecting the stubbing template. You must first create a template under Templates > Stubbing.

The template file, which exists as a document in TEMPLATES, can also contain variables whose values are determined dynamically during processing. Each variable is indicated by "{%.."}".

The following stubbing variables are available:

  • {%GUID}: This variable is replaced by the SORD GUID in the template. It can also be used in "DocumentUrl".
  • {%IX}: URL of the ELOix.
  • {%ARCNAME}: Name: Name of the repository.
  • {%ARCDATE}: Date of archiving.
  • {%DELDATE}: Date of deletion.
  • {%LINK}: URL of the archived document.
  • {%ATTLINK}: List of all URLs for extracted file attachments (see ExportDef in "split" mode).
  • {%BODY}: The variable is replaced by the full text of the previous stub.
  • {%BODY[<len>}}: Allows you to insert a shortened message stub in the template. <len> specifies the number of characters.

DocumentUrl: "DocumentUrl" is the template of the URL, which is generated during stubbing and used as a reference to the archived document when the mode is set to "doclink". The document reference is usually created in new contents. However, if the mode is set to "ecd", an ELO link is created as a new attachment.

EloSearchKey: Name of the index group used for searching related element components in the repository. This is especially necessary when elements have been archived in split form (see ExportDef in "split" mode).

UseLocalTime: Select this option to allow the use of local timestamps. If not, all time specifications are generated in UTC.
