Ribbon with tabs (1): Five tabs provide various Outlook functions. The two tabs on the far right provide ELO functions. In this example, the ELO Document tab is open.
My ELO (2): After logon, the My ELO start page appears. Here, feed posts from different entries are displayed. This applies to feeds such as those that a particular user has subscribed to or in which the particular user is mentioned by another user. Escalated or recently started workflows that are relevant for the user are also shown in this work area. Above the viewer pane, you will find a selection list for the content shown below. ELO Client for Microsoft Outlook is selected here by default. To show the Outlook folder content, switch to Folder View.
Please note: The top area contains a search bar. The search field indicates that you can Search ELO here. However, only Microsoft Outlook contents are searched. This search bar cannot be hidden or otherwise influenced by ELO. Instead, perform an ELO search in the work area toolbar.
Outlook navigation bar (3): Use the buttons to navigate between the different areas in Outlook. You can change the viewing order and the number of visible items under Options.
Work area toolbar (4): The buttons lead to five additional ELO work areas: Logon, My ELO, Repository, In use, and Search.

Split bar (2): Here you can choose between the four different view filters for the viewer pane: Document, Keywording, Annotations, and Form.
Preview bar (3): Here you can view the metadata for the document that is currently open in the viewer pane: File type, file size, short name, attachments, margin notes. There is also a button that enables you to add margin notes.
